Energy Company Obligations: Examples of delivering energy efficiency in Buildings and future trends

A Building Energy Efficiency Task group from IPEEC, International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation, has published a report on EEOs. The report gives a global overview of examples of delivering energy efficiency in buildings for obligated parties. Future trends are also discussed, including Pay-for-performance (P4P) programmes and Valuing energy efficiency as a resource to transmission and distribution systems. Policy conclusions are that there is no one-size-fits-all solution, but they instead provide concrete guidance with examples which countries the proposed solutions would be suitable for.
