Survey on art. 7 implementation highlights the need for further knowledge exchange
ENSMOV asked policymakers, implementing bodies and other stakeholders in the EU on article 7 of the EED about the main needs for policy implementation and monitoring, reporting and verification. The outcomes of the survey reveal that Member States are progressing at different pace in implementing article 7 requirements and demand for exchange of knowledge varies among them. ENSMOV will help Member States in sharing different approaches and improve their national energy efficiency policies.
ENSMOV project website launched
The ENSMOV website has been officially launched. The website is conceived as an interactive tool to provide on one side general information about the ENSMOV project and offer quick and easy access to all the project deliverables. At the same time the website will act as a portal to the knowledge exchange platform to support discussions and exchanges of the ENSMOV community.
ENSMOV project kicked off
With a Kick-Off meeting held in Brussels on the 10th-11th June, the 3 years Horizon 2020 ENSMOV project officially started. The project partners from 14 EU countries discussed and agreed on a plan to support EU Member States achieving better energy efficiency policies by ensuring that policies under article 7 of the Energy Efficiency Directive realize energy savings. The project will implement an active platform and community for knowledge exchange on article 7.
